Hours after the world’s lightest 8-inch notebook— the new VAIO® P Series Lifestyle PC was launched at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Singapore is the first Asian country to launch it!
After Kazutoyo Araki, Senior Manager of Business Planning and Strategy for VAIO Global, gave the opening speech, he pulled out the new VAIO P from a pocket of his jacket.....inspiring envy from many present! Mr Araki flew in specially for this launch.
The Sony VAIO P comes in 4 colours ( garnet red, olivine green, obsidian black, crystal white ). Selling from $1299, it will be available in Singapore in mid-February.
(apologies for not getting a more good-looking model with a sexy derriere! :P)
Asked why Sony chooses to launch VAIO P in Singapore instead of Tokyo, General Manager of Sony Singapore Marketing Company, Mr Chang Seng Hock exclaimed, "We told Sony : Hey it's our turn now! It's high time we have product launches in Singapore first, due to our strategic location in the region and the strong support from consumers."
Looking through the specifications, I cannot help lusting for a sexy VAIO P. The thought of pulling a garnet red VAIO P from behind seems so sensual! haha....
The media launch was held at stylish The Salon, in the National Museum.
