Singapore first to launch Sony VAIO P in Asia!

Mr Kazutoyo Araki (centre) revealing .... the ultra cool, slim, sexy Sony VAIO P!!

Hours after the world’s lightest 8-inch notebook— the new VAIO® P Series Lifestyle PC was launched at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Singapore is the first Asian country to launch it!

After Kazutoyo Araki, Senior Manager of Business Planning and Strategy for VAIO Global, gave the opening speech, he pulled out the new VAIO P from a pocket of his jacket.....inspiring envy from many present! Mr Araki flew in specially for this launch.

The world’s lightest 8-inch notebook— VAIO® P weighing only 594g!

The Sony VAIO P comes in 4 colours ( garnet red, olivine green, obsidian black, crystal white ). Selling from $1299, it will be available in Singapore in mid-February.

It fits in your pocket!
(apologies for not getting a more good-looking model with a sexy derriere! :P)

My son Jaymes tagged along for this event. I could see his eyes getting bigger and brighter when the VAIO P was revealed. At the end of the event, he was drooling all over. He has decided to save his allowance for 6 months to get this notebook!

EastCoastLife with Sony Singapore's General Manager Chang Seng Hock

Asked why Sony chooses to launch VAIO P in Singapore instead of Tokyo, General Manager of Sony Singapore Marketing Company, Mr Chang Seng Hock exclaimed, "We told Sony : Hey it's our turn now! It's high time we have product launches in Singapore first, due to our strategic location in the region and the strong support from consumers."

Matching carrying cases and Bluetooth® colour-coordinated mice to complete the look!

Looking through the specifications, I cannot help lusting for a sexy VAIO P. The thought of pulling a garnet red VAIO P from behind seems so sensual! haha....

The media launch was held at stylish The Salon, in the National Museum.

Are You My Type? - RT /WW

My husband went to donate blood again. He's a regular donor. I failed to be a blood donor..... again. I'm anaemic.

15 units of blood are used in Singapore every hour of the day. At least 350 units a day are needed, as a whopping 90,000 units are needed in a year..... just to meet the transfusion needs of patients in Singapore.

During festive seasons like Christmas and Chinese New Year, the blood supply at the Blood Bank will run low.

Your blood will be used for patients who are undergoing cancer treatment, major surgeries, medical emergencies and road traffic accidents.

With each donation your blood can save 3 people.

You can donate blood every 3 months.

In appreciation of your generosity, the Red Cross will present you with a pin of your blood type.

Save lives today.
